As the Vice President of Wolverine Sports Analytics, I help create and run optimizers that project winning lineups for Daily Fantasy Sports games such as FanDuel and Draftkings using Python and MySQL and various algorithms depending on the sport (Ex. NBA, EPL) and have obtained winnings of over $2300. I worked on improving the optimizer’s runtime by creating data scrapers using Python and MySQL Workbench instead of manually copying data from multiple websites.
